As students begin the first year, when we start with this trestle is a good practical task for beginners.

    1. I thank it takes between 6-9 hours for students to complete a trestle. Some are quick and then they had to make a smaler, but any great we have not tried yet.

  2. Hi Jorgen
This is an initial task in a lot of Australian VET courses also. Students are often allowed to keep the trestle, and to use it in the workshop throughout their study, and then to take it home. I've heard of students who make another one later on because they want to use better craftmanship once they develop the skills.
