Students work on individual and group projects in this workshop. Completed projects (e.g. saw-horses, wooden mallets, toolboxes) remain at school for use in other classes or in the workshop. Year 12 work on a community project with the local council, with assistance from senior men from the community with carpentry experience.
It sounds wonderful to have this collaboration in the community. Are the senior men paid for this assistance?
